This Just IN!
Just found out from Shawn Ireland that his 80ft tall Tenmoku candlestick was just installed in Piazza del Campo Siena, Italy. This Large three legged horse by an American in Sienna's main Piazza in anticipation of July 2nds
Palio di Siena
has caused quite a stir among the locals.
Stay tuned!
Not to mention the logistics of wood firing a 80 ft ceramic horse thing!
We sell Shawn's work and in fact have the original"model" here at MADE shop.

We did it! Our best ad campaign yet.
This will be a total surprise to all of you but for many many months we have been working on our most ambitious ad campaign ever - and truth be told it may be the best idea ever conceived. It would all have been impossible without the help of our team of ever loyal Sherpas and our sponsors - too numerous to mention here. Also lets not forget to thank NEPAL and its very understanding leaders that finally granted us permission to construct what you see before you. WE had to promise numerous handmade "gifts" to each and every government worker, and Sherpa involved and that may prove our only mistake!
BEHOLD!
BEHOLD!

A Little Dotty!
What are these things?? They are felted candy-like neck pieces by Danielle Gori-Montanelli - the perfect accessory. The grey sweater I am wearing turned from boring to exciting when I added this splash of color. Available at MADE shop - only three left!
Water, Water Everywhere!
It is a rainy and blustery day outside the MADE shop. My mobile of wooden Flensted fish are very happy as they watch the sheets of water coming down while people chase their windswept hats and struggle with their inside out umbrellas! Seek refuge inside our lovely dry shop. Take something nice home!

The Candlestick Maker
Shawn Ireland is determined to have people sitting down to romantic dinners every night - why else would he keep making pieces of pottery that require animals to haul around candles on their backs!

I'm Lucky!
Why?
Because I get to turn this light on every night. A light with birds and leaves and flowers and Japanese paper and green copper and brown copper and dutch glass. Made by David Jones of MADE shop. Sweet day, and night dreams.

KING PIN!
Pins like this one can only be found at the MADE shop. It comes from the creative hands of David Jones. This shield-like piece is a miniature sculpture of metals (copper, gold, silver) which have been folded, hammered, riveted and soldered. Looks like the best candy I've ever seen - yum!
Definitely deserves the title of King Pin!
Feelin' groovy
It's time to start thinking about changing out that dull black or brown purse for this - The Earth Purse. This fab bag (with lots of other choices) is made from recycled clothing, upholstery fabrics and even shower curtains. They are stylish and practical - reversible even! And now you know where to get one, MADE shop.

Hate to bug you......
unless it's to check out this cool bug table top sculpture! When David Jones found a danish chair with only three legs he didn't walk away thinking non-functional? No, he thought "perfectly great bug body! Seeing this great bug up close is a treat and an education - ingeniously thought out and executed - master of metal!
Available at the MADE shop (there's only one!)
